Opera was born in 1998 as an idea of Fausto Pinarello.
The mission was to create a new brand that was experimental,
that sought new frontiers in bicycle design with carbon
fibre,new tube shapes, new manufacturing techniques,
new technologies.
From a small workshop comes great works:
Leonardo, Canova and Bernini, three models that sprang
from the intuition of our designers and supported
by the great technology of Pinarello. In 2005, it
was a great season, Valverde rode his Opera to many
top international wins and brought the Opera brand
to the forefront after 10 years. Today, Opera is one
of the top italian bicycle brands.
